INDUCTION COIL (SOLID STATE) 1531
A coil that produces a 3 inch spark. Sliding rods that adjust the spark gap, on-off switch with pilot lamp, polarity reversing switch and power rheostat. Operates on 220V AC.

SOLENOID (Air Core) 1532
Used to study electricity and magnetism. Constructed of 550 turns of 16-gauge enameled copper wire wound on a 150mm PVC Core, which can carry 10Amp. intermittently and 5Amp. continuously. Equipped with brass binding posts mounted on rigid PVC end plates. Sizes:

DOUBLE 'C' CORE AND CLIP 1533-a
Laminated core to form roughly rectangular core 92x56x20mm approx. With a cross section of 20 X 12 mm and is cut across the middle to produce two equal C's. A strong spring steel slip is provided to hold the two halves together.

PAIR OF COILS 1533-b
Each centre hole coil is wound oa plastic former and is provided with 4mm socketed terminals. The coil fits on to a double 'C' core, provides a suitable transformer for operation from a low voltage AC supply. In addition it provides a useful electromagnet if used on one half of a 'C' core. Overall size of coil 100 x 53 x 28 mm approx.

TANGENT GALVANOMETER 1534-a
A bakelite ring channel 165mm dia with three windings of 2, 50 and 500 turns mounted on a black bakelite plate with four terminals. A nonmagnetic metal cup supports a magnetometer com- pass box at the centre of the ring. The whole unit can be rotated at the centre of a metal tripod provided with three leveling screws. Complete with compass box.

TANGENT GALVANOMETER 1534-b
Consists of an acrylic hoop, approx. 5 inch dia. wrapped with 2 coils of copper wire (1 coil has 5 turns, the other 10) 3 binding posts, which allow connections to 5, 10, or 15 turns, complete along with compass.

SIMPLE GALVANOSCOPE 1534-C
Comprises wooden former with terminals & engraved metal circle marked 0 - 180 - 0, divided & figured every 45º, with magnetic pivot, wound with 30 turns enamelled copper wire & complete with 75 mm magnetic needle with brass bearing. Maximum opening voltage 4.5 V.
