POCKET COMPASS 1518
In aluminium case 50mm dia one side glass with a printed card dial marked with degrees.

DIP CIRCLE 1519
An accurately balanced needle fitted with hardened steel pivot working in jewel cup bearings.

DIP NEEDLE 1520
Comprises an aluminium arc printed with degrees 0 to 90 supported in aluminium fork fixed on aluminium base. The fork holding the needle can be rotated on metal base to take the angle of dip.

DEFLECTION MAGNETOMETER 1521
Comprising a bakelite box 100mm dia with aluminium dial marked with degrees 0-90º four times, antiparallax mirror and a steel needle pivot at the centre. The short magnetic needle has a jewel bearing and an aluminium pointer for precise reading on the dial. This magnetometer compass box is fitted at the centre of one metre long wooden board with two half metre scales reading from the centre of the compass box complete.

DEMONSTRATION TRANSFORMER 1522
The primary coil is of 200/250 volts and two interchangeable secondary coils give an output at 6 and 12 volts at 2 Amps. Assembly of the transformer and interchanging of coils can be done quickly. Complete with 2 mt. cord and plug connections.

VIBRATION MAGNETOMETER 1523
A wooden box with two glass doors. A glass tube supported at the centre on top of the box supports a stirrup with a silk thread. The floor of the box has a mirror with an index line supplied with a 100mm bar magnet and al00mm long brass bar of the same size.

ELECTROMAGNET 1524
A soft iron ‘U’ shaped core of circular section fitted with wound with copper wire. The bobbins are connected with connector. The two lose ends of copper wire also have c tors. Supplied with a keeper.

OERSTED’S APPARATUS 1525
To show the action of DC current on a magnetic needle 75mm long supported on a pivot mounted on a wooden/bakelite base and surrounded by a rectangle copper rod fitted with terminals.

IRON FILINGS SPRINKLER/COLLECTOR 1526
Iron filings contained in a clear plastic jar with a spring loaded magnet on which filings sticks and by opening the lid can be sprayed on paper. After experiment just use the magnet to collect them back.

MARNIER'S COMPASS 1527
With aluminium bowl in gimbals and mounted in wooden polished box, slide 20 cm. with sliding lid. Diameter of card 10 cm.

MARNIER'S COMPASS 1528
With aluminium bowl in gimbals and floating dial on aluminium stand.

DEMONSTRATION INDUCTION COILS 1529
With primary coil of thick gauge enameled wire wound on a former 110x30mm dia. Secondary coil of fine gauge enameled copper wire wound on a former 115x50mm dia. Both coils fitted with 4mm sockets supplied with a soft iron core with a handle.
