A plastic jar 150x100mm (height x dia) with 150x150mm zinc and copper plates
with terminals.
STANDARD CELL 1603
Portable, for use inside panel of instruments such as potantiometers, pH meters
and other electronic instruments where internal standardisation is required.
The cell itself is housed under engraved acrylic panel carrying red and black
connecting terminals. Internal resistance 1000 to 1500 ohms. E.M.F. is 1.01859
Volts at 20ºC.

Comprises a plastic container 90x90x150mm Length x Width x Height. Rim shaped
to hold a zinc rod as a cathode and a sealed porous pot containing a carbon
rod with terminal in a mixture of powdered carbon and manganese dioxide. Require
about 500ml of ammonium chloride as an electrolyte. Supplied without electrolyte.

ELECTROLYSIS CELL, OHP 1627
For use with an overhead projector to demonstrate the nature of chemical changes
that occur with the electrolysis of aqueous solutions. Consists of a rectangular
clear plastics container with two removable carbon electrodes, each fitted
with 4mm sockets. A 6V, 0.03A M.E.S. lamp with flying leads and plug is fitted
on the extension on one side of the cell. The cell can be divided by a separator
that permits flow of the current but mechanically separates the products
of electrolysis. Container size: 150 x50x55mm.
