CATHETOMETERS 1065
They are used for accurate measurement of vertical distances or displacements. It is specially required when the test piece to be measured is not easily accessible or physical contact introduce error. A cathetometer essentially consists of a telescope fitted with an achromatic objective of 178 mm F.L. and 25mm clear aperture. The 90º crossline reticle has provision for centering. With the auxiliary lens provided along with the instrument the telescope from 400mm to infinity. The scale is graduated every half mm on an inlaid metal strip. A vernier and micrometer reading to 0.01mm are provided. The total transverse of both Cathetometers is 1000mm.

CATHETOMETER UNIVERSAL 1066
A provision for rotating the vertical guide bar is given for alignment with the test objects. This model of cathetometer can be used in horizontal as well as vertical position.

CATHETOMETER STANDARD 1067
This Cathetometer is very rigid and stable. The carriage is counter weighed with a weight in the vertical guide bar. This ensures smooth movement of carriage and correct reading. On the heavy C.I. base a provision for smooth rotation up-to 360º. with the help of ball bearings is given. The scale is graduated from 0 to 360º. with a least count of 1º.
